Burgess & Niple’s (B&N) relationship with Honda of America began in 1977 with the need to provide utilities for Honda’s original Motorcycle Assembly Plant. Since that time we have completed 119 projects for the Marysville, East Liberty, and Anna plants. We have also completed more than 25 projects for Honda supplier plants through design/build relationships with local general contractors. Our experience with each of these projects has kept us at the leading edge of manufacturing-facility design.
We have completed 42 production-facility projects for the Marysville and East Liberty plants. Projects have included the EGA Facility, ISPS Building, EGA Try-Line, and H.O.O. Office Facilities. Projects which support these operations include the Visitors Center Lobby Renovation which was implemented to better showcase Honda’s products and commitment to excellence. Other B&N design projects for Honda include the President’s office space, the Watson Fitness Center, H.O.O. Conference Room Interior Design, and East Liberty and Marysville plant Cafeteria Renovation and Expansion Projects.
Each of these projects has been completed using our in-house staff of structural, mechanical, electrical, and civil engineers. In addition, our staff has completed engineering assignments for Honda which involve structural analysis, mechanical, HVAC, piping, water supply, wastewater treatment, electrical power distribution, traffic, and parking projects.
