Under a five-year continuing engineering services contract, B&N provided a wide range of transportation services to the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) District 5. The contract was used to procure services related to preserving transportation assets, improving service and operation of corridors, and increasing the safety of the traveling public. Typical assignments included roadway resurfacing, pavement designs, roadway improvements, and ADA upgrades.

One of the primary objectives under this contract was to minimize disruption to roadway users while maintaining early, continuous, and meaningful communication with local stakeholders. Additionally, improvements had to be incorporated within the FDOT Practical Design and Consistent, Predictable and Repeatable (CPR) initiatives as directed by the District regarding resurfacing project elements.

Notable projects completed under the contract include work on Interstate 4 (State Route 400), State Route (SR) 536, and SR 600.

Interstate 4 (SR 400):
