The Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) is developing a Multimodal Design Guide to supplement the State's other design manuals. The goal of the project is to provide a document that will facilitate consistent multimodal design efforts, serve as a tool for local agencies when design guidance is needed, and ensure safety and the latest state of the practice is incorporated into the manual. B&N is supporting the stakeholder and Technical Advisory Committee engagement, presenting safety and pedestrian design elements, and leading the development of the accessibility, signing and signals, complex intersections and interchange and maintenance of traffic chapters in the manual.
