This project consisted of the construction of a new 4,400-square-foot bank building with associated parking and utilities. The facility is situated on approximately 2.2 acres along a main highway at the entrance of a residential area. Landscape architecture was a key element of the site development. The site improvements were designed to preserve several specimen magnolia trees located at the corner of the site.
Burgess & Niple’s (B&N) scope of work included preparation of complete construction plans and specifications in accordance with Chesterfield County and VDOT requirements. B&N provided utility plans, grading and drainage plans, BMP plans, traffic control plans, and erosion and sediment control plans. B&N also provided complete construction surveying services.
