Burgess & Niple (B&N) provided site engineering, surveying, design, and construction testing services for multiple projects at the Asbury Methodist Village campus, including:
Asbury Villas – Site engineering and associated services for 74 single-level villa units in a townhouse-type design. Project included a community building for this independent-living neighborhood. B&N provided utility design, stormwater management, sediment control, construction stakeout, and testing. The first phase (31 units) was awarded an outstanding single-family residential-use urban design award by the City of Gaithersburg.
Asbury Drive/Fellowship Circle – Designed interior roadway system to serve future facilities. Work included planning and design of future access points, road grades, storm drain, grading, sediment control, and paving.
Asbury Wellness Center – Provided design for a 100-room facility and parking lot within an environmentally sensitive area. Site civil engineering consisted of storm drain, stormwater management, on-site water, sewer, paving, sediment control, retaining walls, grading, and special details and specifications.
Administration Building Parking Lots 1 and 2 – Involved site grading, paving, sediment control, and storm drain for 19- and 40-space parking lots to serve the main administration building.
