The Main Street / Cemetery Road / Scioto Darby Road Improvement Project, often referred
to as the “Triangle Project” involves complete reconstruction of the roadways and
intersections within the project limits. The City of Hilliard, Ohio, is committed
to providing improvements for the Triangle area that will benefit all users in a
safe, convenient, and attractive way.
Multiple alternatives were studied at length to determine the best solution for
reducing congestion and delay and improving safety and ease of access to homes,
businesses, and schools in the area. The selected alternative includes two
modern roundabouts and a signalized intersection. Details on this design and
the history of the project can be found under the Project Approach
and Project History section of this website.
Construction of the Triangle project is now underway. The City of Hilliard
awarded the construction contract to Complete General Construction Company on April
29, 2010. This website has been created as a tool to keep those who live and work
in Hilliard informed on the various aspects of the work that will affect them as
the project progresses.
