2023 has been a busy year of change in the transportation industry. Some of those changes include updates to the final ruling of PROWAG, a new version of the NCHRP Roundabout Guide, and more funding opportunities for agencies. This presentation will highlight the importance of the new design guidance and review the changes made in 2023. Additionally, we will cover how to implement new elements added to PROWAG and the Roundabout Guide and provide examples. Lastly, we will explore the new funding opportunities that are available to local agencies through the IIJA bill, including rural agency-specific programs. We will also provide tips for submitting your grant applications.
