For many industries located outside of municipalities, discharge and disposal of their process wastewater and stormwater can often be a challenge without an easy solution. Even those industries with access to a public sanitary sewer system find themselves looking for lower-cost options for selected discharges. This presentation will discuss potential discharge alternatives, including the use of Class V injection wells. It covers a summary of what are Class V injection wells, when are they applicable, and what is involved as case studies will be presented as example applications. 

Stormwater permits for industrial facilities can be a challenge: designing the BMP, managing quality and quantity of stormwater, developing the SWPPP, collecting stormwater samples and meeting permit benchmarks. This presentation will use a variety of industrial facilities examples to demonstrate how to manage the permit requirements.
