This webcast will feature three case studies from utilities whose leading business practice is asset management. Each case study will cover a different major element of asset management leading practice (e.g. capital planning, maintenance optimization, risk management). The goal is to share what current leading business practices in asset management look like and allow attendees to hear how the utilities have achieved it. Leading practice utilities were identified based on the 2015 AWWA “Establishing the Level of Progress in Utility Asset Management Survey” and the Case Studies were documented as a result of the 2016 AWWA Leading Business Practices in Asset Management Case Study Report.
