Responsibilities

Interested in working with senior-level professionals at an established A/E firm that values employee input and collaboration? Consider applying to our 2022 Spring or Summer semester Architectural Co-op in our Norfolk, VA office.

What an Architectural Co-op is all about:

  • You will assist with producing studies, construction documents, field verification, and graphic renderings for projects and proposals using REVIT and AutoCAD
  • Senior Project Architect and Interior Design staff will support your development while you learn how our design and construction document development process works
  • Gain experience with government and military requirements for architectural design on large-scale industrial or public projects including renovations, restorations and/or new building design
  • Discover how multi-disciple project teams work together to create quality design solutions

What you need to make an impact:

  • Current 2nd year or higher student in good academic standing pursuing an Architecture Bachelor's degree from an NAAB accredited program
  • Interest and desire to learn and develop design skills
  • Ability to work 30 – 40 hours per week, Monday – Friday throughout the 2022 Spring or Summer semester
  • Experience with AutoCAD, REVIT and Microsoft Office
  • Excellent communication skills and detail oriented
  • Self-motivated and adaptable, including the capability to learn virtual collaboration tools
  • Housing and transportation to/from work is the responsibility of the co-op. Parking is provided.
