Come work with a wide range of professionals at an established A/E firm that value employee input and collaboration. Burgess & Niple is looking for a Engineering Co-op, to join our team in our Tampa, FL office.

B&N Engineering Co-op Responsibilities:

• Work with a team of experienced transportation engineers on various traffic engineering projects such as capacity analyses and safety evaluations
• Develop familiarity and skills with traffic and capacity studies, safety analysis, data collection and reports, benefit cost analysis, and cost estimates 
• Assist engineers with production of traffic crash data analysis (including geo-location analysis), data exhibition for dashboard development, and preparation of documentation for FDOT and other clients

Skills & Qualifications:

• You are a current student in good academic standing pursuing a degree in civil engineering from an ABET accredited program
• You have a strong interest in traffic engineering; previous internships are a plus
• Experience with Microsoft offices, ArcGIS Pro a plus
• Self-motivated and adaptable, including the capability to learn virtual collaboration tools
