Founded in 1912, Burgess & Niple is a leader in civil infrastructure design looking for a Project Analyst in our Florida offices. Working closely with district leaders and project managers this position will perform project analyses, monitor budgets, and support invoicing to clients helping to strengthen and build resilient communities.  

B&N Project Analyst Responsibilities:

  • Engage project management on contracts from award to completion
  • Lead reviews for project finances and analytics and prepare forecasts
  • Provide recommendations to improve financial performance
  • Support invoicing
  • Work closely with project managers, accountants, and clients to ensure timely payment (accounts receivable)
  • Support client and subconsultant contracting
  • Participate in recurring principal level reviews
  • Provide analytics to support quarterly earnings through work-in-progress

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Business (Finance, Accounting, Business, Management, Project Management), Engineering, Construction or relevant degree
  • 5+ years of experience
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to make an impact on projects for our clients
  • Strong organizational skills; able to manage priorities and workflow on multiple projects; attentive to detail and accuracy
  • Microsoft Office Suite required, with proficiency using Excel and Word
  • Self-motivated and adaptable including the capability to learn and leverage virtual collaboration tools
