Burgess & Niple is seeking innovative and experienced Bentley BIM Manager to join our Digital Engineering team. This position can be filled in either Cincinnati or Columbus, OH or Tampa, FL. B&N BIM Manager Responsibilities

  • Contribute, garner participation, and lead cross-functional company initiatives to drive the long-term vision of transportation digital delivery through Bentley BIM.
  • Collaborate with production staff to facilitate the effective use of Bentley BIM technologies, ensuring seamless integration into existing design workflows.
  • Provide training, documentation, and support to staff, promoting efficient use of Digital Delivery technologies.
  • Evaluate emerging applications and technologies as they pertain to Digital Delivery for potential benefits to our services.
  • Ensure that the production staff is working towards delivering an appropriate and useable MALD (Model as Legal Document).
  • Develop and maintain a communications plan to keep staff informed of technological advancements.
  • Ensure compatibility and interoperability of new technologies with our production stack.
  • Work closely with design manager to support successful delivery of the digital aspects of the project from conception to completion.
  • Work with application support staff to create companywide resources for efficient and effective Bentley BIM production.
  • Maintain and develop good awareness of relevant industry standards such as ISO 19650 and help implement those standards in design workflows.

Skills and Qualifications

  • A minimum of 7-10 years of proven leadership and management of BIM standards using Bentley and digital technology adoption.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technology or engineering related discipline preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience in civil infrastructure projects, particularly transportation related.
  • Broad understanding of digital engineering applications, with expert-level knowledge in one or more applications such as Bentley Open Roads Designer, and/or iTwin Platform.
  • Experience with reality capture technologies preferred.
  • Strong understanding of business operations and the ability to influence technology adoption.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with diverse teams.
