B&N Civil Engineer, Drainage Responsibilities:

• Supported and mentored by a team of technical experts and project managers, you’ll design and produce plans for a variety of drainage design projects for the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) and local municipalities
• Provide support for hydrology calculations, drainage design of culverts, ditches and piped conveyance systems and stormwater pond designs. As part of the drainage design team, provide support for stormwater modeling and analysis
• Collaborate on plan production to produce high quality plans, that follow the owner’s respective standards and guidelines
• Manage and coordinate project drawings using MicroStation ORD and/or AutoCAD Civil 3D

Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent program
• EI/EIT certification or ability to obtain within 6 months from this application
• 0-2 years of related civil or environmental engineering experience
• Should have strong communication and coordination skills
• Microsoft Office Suite and CADD software experience required
• Familiarity with any of the following software programs is a plus: ICPR4, ASAD, HEC-RAS, HY8, ArcGIS, MicroStation ORD, AutoCAD Civil 3D
• Experience with FDOT and/or municipalities is a plus
• Collaborate in a team environment
• Self-motivated and adaptable, including the capability to learn virtual collaboration tools
