Responsibilities

Are you motivated, energetic and ready to take your career to the next level? Burgess & Niple is seeking an Administrative Assistant to join our multi-discipline engineering consulting firm in our Tampa, FL (Westshore area) office.

 What an Administrative Assistant job is all about:

  • Perform office administrative tasks for Florida offices including but not limited to ordering supplies, distributing mail, coordinating meetings, project accounting functions, and organizing office activities and events.
  • Train new employees on company procedures, B&N project software, and assist with orientation for new employees.
  • Coordinate with Clients and Project Managers to create FDOT (Florida Department of Transportation) Fee Proposals
  • Assist with Client and Subconsultant Contracts
  • Create Accessible Documents to conform with Section 508 standards (training available).

You may be a good fit if you have these skills and qualifications:

  • 2 + years related experience, preferably as an office administrative assistant
  • High School Diploma, Associates degree desirable
  • You can easily demonstrate proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with strong organizational skills
  • You have a pro-active mindset, enjoy being creative and producing high quality documents
  • Self-motivated and adaptable, including the capability to learn virtual collaboration tools
