Interested in working with some of the top transportation experts in the industry? B&N is looking for a Project Manager/ Roadway Engineer to join our growing team in San Antonio, TX.

What you can expect as the major duties and responsibilities:

  • Manage roadway projects and/or lead roadway design tasks including all coordination of ancillary design services for small to large projects with TxDOT and other local public agencies.
  • Lead preparation of Statement of Qualifications and Work Authorization fee proposals.
  • Deliver shortlist technical interviews and presentations.
  • Actively lead and participate in project delivery to create an exemplary client experience.
  • Coordinate with B&N project teams both internally and externally. 
  • Monitor performance indicators, budgets, schedules, and manage risk.
  • Maintain quality control of the work product and effectively coach staff to successfully complete projects on time and within budget.

You may be a good fit if you have these skills and qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited engineering program
  • Texas PE registration
  • Six years of related roadway design experience, including experience with TxDOT highway design work
  • Precertified in TxDOT Roadway Design Work Categories
  • Excellent communication skills and technical writing skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Microstation and Geopak required, experience with OpenRoadsDesigner (ORD) a plus
  • Self-motivated and adaptable, including the capability to learn virtual collaboration tools
  • Ability to work remotely based on business operations and the needs of the firm
