Begin your career working with some of the top civil engineering experts in the industry. Burgess & Niple is looking for a Civil Engineer Co-op, W/WW to join our team in Painesville.

B&N Engineering Intern Responsibilities:

• Utilize and further develop existing drafting skills in AutoCAD on a variety of water line, sewer, force main, and treatment plant projects for municipal clients in the region
• Increase your knowledge of municipal infrastructure design in a real-life application of civil engineering
• Gain field experience to inspect, assess and verify infrastructure conditions
• Field work may include short duration documentation of construction activities, manhole inspection, and assistance with survey crews

Skills and Qualifications:

• You are a current student in good standing pursuing a civil or environmental degree from an ABET accredited college or university
• Strong organization and communication skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office required
• Willingness to work in at team setting both in the office and in the field
• Related coursework in water/wastewater preferred
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record
