Begin your career working with some of the top civil engineering experts in the industry. Burgess & Niple is looking for a Civil Engineering Intern to join our team in Portland.

B&N Civil Engineering Intern Responsibilities:

• Work with our project team, collaborate and learn from experienced engineers on transportation infrastructure projects
• Participate in delivering projects related to all aspects of transportation including final engineering design, plan sheet production, construction cost estimating, and future project research
• Assist in all areas of transportation design including roadway safety, traffic, signals, illumination, signing and striping, and highway/roadway design
• Familiarize yourself with design tools such as MicroStation and AutoCAD

Skills & Qualifications:

• You are a current student in good academic standing pursuing a degree from an ABET accredited program in Civil Engineering and have completed at least 2 years of your undergraduate degree
• You have a strong interest in transportation engineering
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Experience using Autodesk (AutoCAD, or Civil 3D), or Bentley Products (MicroStation, InRoads, Open Roads) is a plus
