Begin your career working with senior-level professionals at an established A/E firm that values employee input and collaboration. Burgess & Niple is looking for a Civil Engineer Co-op, Roadway Design to join our team in Phoenix.

 B&N Civil Engineer Co-op Responsibilities

  • Work with Professional Engineers on a variety of transportation projects
  • Projects include roadway, traffic, and general civil engineering study and design
  • Assist with preparing studies and writing reports
  • Perform project scoping, design, and final design, and develop construction plans, cost estimates, and specifications
  • Learn new methods and technologies such as MicroStation/OpenRoads Designer and/or AutoCAD

Skills & Qualifications

  • You are a current student in good academic standing pursuing a degree in civil engineering from an ABET accredited college or university and have completed at least one year of your undergraduate degree
  • You have a strong interest in roadway engineering; previous co-ops are a plus
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office is required
  • Experience with MicroStation/ OpenRoads Designer and/or AutoCAD a plus
