B&N Water/Wastewater Engineer Responsibilities:

• Assist senior engineers with the planning, design, and implementation of pipelines to ensure efficient and safe conveyance of water and wastewater within systems
• Prepare design calculations, drawings, specifications, design analysis and construction cost estimates
• Conduct thorough analysis of existing pipeline systems, identifying potential deficiencies or areas for improvement
• Provide technical support during construction activities, including reviewing plans, addressing design changes, and resolving engineering-related issues on-site
• Work with senior engineers to develop innovative solutions that meet environmental, regulatory, and budgetary requirements

Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited program required
• EI/EIT certification with a desire to become a PE
• 0-4 years of related water/wastewater experience
• Software experience with Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, EPANET, or similar is a plus
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders
