We're looking for an entry-level Transportation Engineer to join our fast-paced team in Phoenix, AZ working on exciting roadway and traffic engineering projects. This position provides excellent opportunities for growth and development.

What an entry level Transportation Engineer job is all about:

  • You jump at the opportunity to work with senior engineers and be expected to proactively learn new methods and techniques
  • You will participate in roadway and traffic studies, preliminary engineering/scoping, and final design projects
  • You will perform a range of assignments, including roadway and traffic engineering calculations, analysis, and design; preparation of construction plans, specifications, and cost estimates; transportation studies; and report writing
  • Interact with clients and the public
  • Change is not a scary word to you; You thrive in an organization that constantly adapts and evolves with client needs

What you need to make an impact:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited engineering program; Spring 2022 graduates are also encouraged to apply
  • EIT/EI designation desirable but not required, must be able to obtain EI/EIT within 6 months of application
  • 0-2 years experience; prior work experience, such as an engineering internship, is desirable
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office; Microstation or AutoCAD software is preferred
  • Good communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment with clients in either the public or private sector
  • Self-motivated and adaptable, tech savvy that includes the capability to learn virtual collaboration tools
