Come work with senior-level professionals at an established A/E firm that value employee input and collaboration. Burgess & Niple is looking for a Designer to join our team in Parkersburg.

B&N Designer Responsibilities:

• Support the engineering team by creating figures and construction plans for a variety of utility infrastructure projects
• Train and mentor staff in the proper plan production procedures.
• Collaborate with engineering staff on technical challenges while adhering to task performance indicators, budgets, and schedules.
• Assist engineers and CAD designers with tasks such as drafting and design, creation / editing of technical drawings and materials for submittal packages.
• Actively participate in municipal utility engineering projects for public agencies, counties, and municipalities.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Associate degree or Vocational certificate in related program preferred (may be substitute with 5+ years experience).
• 7+ years of technical experience in CAD and plan development for engineering design projects.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, AutoCAD and/or MicroStation is required.
• Ability to take verbal direction and implement into drawings and calculations to produce the final work.
• Good communication skills and strong understanding of plan clarity.
• Self-motivated and adaptable to evolving client, project, and industry needs.
