Are you motivated, energetic and ready to support experienced engineers? Burgess & Niple is seeking a part time Administrative Assistant to join our Parkersburg, WV office.

B&N Administrative Assistant Responsibilities:

  • Perform a variety of duties and tasks related to office administration and operations of the West Virginia District 
  • Support District Director in achieving business and staff development goals, and culture/office environment objectives
  • Working with other B&N staff, coordinate client meetings and social events, including scheduling, setup, distribution of agenda, meeting announcements, and catering 
  • Gather, interpret, and analyze information for reports and proposals
  • Professional document preparation
  • Liaison with accounting department for business operations invoicing and billing requests
  • Ordering business supplies, processing mail and shipping, take calls 
  • Coordinate maintenance of company vehicles, office building maintenance, snow removal and lawn care services
  • Technical support on projects, such as data entry, preparing spreadsheets, formatting specifications, and reproducing plan sets

Skills & Qualifications:

  • 4+ years related experience, preferably as an office administrative assistant
  • Associates degree in business related field preferred
  • Confident personality with the ability to manage a variety of duties
  • Strong work ethic with a “hands-on” attitude
  • Strong organizational, planning skills and ability to prioritize tasks when faced with multiple deadlines
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, Teams, Microsoft Outlook, and Adobe Suite or Bluebeam
  • Ability to work part-time up 28 hours per week with flexibility on office hours
