We are currently seeking an Administrative/Marketing Assistant to join our multi-discipline engineering consulting firm in either our Tampa, FL or Orlando, FL office, supporting marketing efforts in B&N’s Southeast Region.

 What an Administrative/Marketing Assistant job is all about:

  • Perform office management tasks for Florida offices including but not limited to ordering supplies, distributing mail, coordinating meetings, and organizing office activities and events   
  • Train new employees on company procedures, B&N project software, and perform orientation for new employees
  • Support promotions activities and help write and create social media posts within the Southeast Region
  • Coordinate with Clients and Project Managers to create FDOT (Florida Department of Transportation) Audit Fee Proposals and perform rate negotiations
  • Assist with Client and Subconsultant Contracts
  • Create Accessible Documents to conform with Section 508 standards

You may be a good fit if you have these skills and qualifications:

  • 3 + years administrative assistant experience, prior marketing experience a plus
  • High School Diploma or GED required, Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing and/or Business Management preferred
  • You can easily demonstrate proficiency with Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite, specifically InDesign
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with strong organizational skills
  • You have a pro-active mindset, enjoy being creative and producing high quality documents
  • FDOT experience is preferred
  • Self-motivated and adaptable, including the capability to learn virtual collaboration tools
  • Ability to work remotely based on business operations and the needs of the firm
