Roadway Engineer

B&N Roadway Engineer Responsibilities

  • As part of the project team, complete design tasks for highway, roadway, streets, pedestrian or bike trail projects for DOT and local agencies
  • Complete plan preparation including geometrics, grading and drainage, construction sequencing and traffic control in collaboration with a diverse project team
  • Prepare specifications, cost estimates, and reports for a variety of rural and urban projects from low volume roadways to major freeways and complex interchanges
  • Create an exemplary client experience throughout project delivery

Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering
  • P.E. License in the state of Oklahoma or ability to obtain through reciprocity
  • Four or more years of related roadway design experience
  • Experience with CAD design software
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently as well as collaborate in a team environment
