Begin your career working with some of the top civil engineering experts in the industry. Burgess & Niple is looking for an Engineering Intern to join our team in Oklahoma City.

B&N Engineering Intern Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate and learn from Professional Engineers across our 24 offices in the geotechnical, environmental, structural, roadway, hydraulics, traffic, and safety areas: as well as related construction and inspection services
  • Gain valuable experience in the planning, design, and field operations of transportation and municipal engineering projects
  • Learn various design, field, and/or planning functions related to transportation (bridge, roadway, and traffic)
  • Gain exposure to field work & report writing for bridge inspection

Skills and Qualifications:

  • You are a current student in good academic standing pursuing a degree in from an ABET accredited college or university and have completed at least one year of your undergraduate degree. Civil engineering degree preferred
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, MicroStation and/or AutoCAD a plus.
  • You can handle high levels of physical exertion including walking, bending, carrying, and lifting up to 60 lbs. of equipment
  • You want to get out and experience fieldwork in inclement weather conditions
  • Self-motivated and adaptable, including the capability to learn virtual collaboration tools
