B&N is seeking a Traffic Engineer for our recently established Oklahoma office. This experienced leader will work with some of the top transportation experts in the industry to build a successful and growing transportation engineering practice in Oklahoma City. 

What you can expect as the major duties and responsibilities:

  • You have the opportunity to be part of a project team, collaborating with industry leaders in transportation and traffic safety professionals
  • You will be part of the development of signal, signing and striping, and traffic control plans
  • You will be a leader on studies and capacity analysis projects
  • You will prepare traffic impact studies and traffic analysis for ODOT and Oklahoma local governments
  • You will continue to develop skills in complete traffic engineering and technical ability
  • You will engage with the transportation industry to identify marketing opportunities and build strategic business development relationships

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science degree from an ABET accredited civil engineering program
  • Professional Engineer (PE) registration required
  • 5+ years of related traffic experience
  • Strong communication skills a plus
  • Project management experience desired
  • Relationship with a DOT and local agencies a plus
  • Knowledge of Microstation and/or AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, Vissim, HCS; TransModeler not required but a plus
