Begin your career working with senior-level professionals at an established A/E firm that values employee input and collaboration. Burgess & Niple is looking for a Civil Engineer Co-op, Transportation to join our team in Louisville.

B&N Civil Engineer Co-op Responsibilities:

• Work with a team of experienced engineers on a variety of transportation engineering projects that include assisting with office and field services
• Typical projects could include traffic and safety analysis, roadway/highway design, complete streets design, drainage design, and surveying
• Assist in studies, safety analysis, reports, and other similar tasks
• Production of traffic and roadway plans and preparation of documentation, plan quantities, and cost estimates
• Learn new methods and technologies such as AutoCAD and/or MicroStation

Skills & Qualifications:

• You are a current student in good academic standing pursuing a degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited college or university
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office is required
• Experience with AutoCAD and/or OpenRoads Designer a plus
• Self-motivated and adaptable, including the capability to learn virtual collaboration tools
• Strong interest in developing diverse civil engineering skills
