Are you a motivated, energetic, and ready to take your career to the next level? We are looking for a Construction Inspector to be part of a growing team building B&N’s Construction Service practice in Indianapolis.

 

B&N Construction Inspector Responsibilities:

  • Monitor work of contractors to ensure quality control and contract compliance for roadway, structure, and bridge construction
  • Monitor contractor’s operations to ensure compliance with contract terms and specifications
  • Provide general inspection on construction labor and subcontracted tasks
  • Provide report of assigned work activities, contractor labor and equipment, and quantity of materials received
  • Perform on-site material testing and verification
  • Calibrate and maintain testing equipment
  • Create and compile close out/final construction records documents for submission
  • Perform other duties as assigned 

Skills & Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma/GED or equivalent
  • All required jurisdictional certificates and statement requirements
  • Valid state driver’s license
  • Use of general software packages, Microsoft Office
  • Ability to obtain all 6 INDOT Certified Technician Courses in first year of employment
