Burgess & Niple is looking for a Construction Manager to join our team in Indianapolis. This position is an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated individual to join our local team and utilize their technical and leadership expertise to lead and complete interesting and challenging construction projects.

B&N Construction Manager Responsibilities:

  • Participate in the conceptual development of a construction project and oversee its organization, scheduling, budgeting, and implementation
  • Plan, schedule, or coordinate construction project activities to meet deadlines
  • Prepare and submit budget estimates, progress reports, or cost tracking reports
  • Inspect or review projects to monitor compliance with building and safety codes or other regulations
  • Interpret and explain plans and contract terms to representatives of the owner or developer, including administrative staff, workers, or clients
  • Study job specifications to determine appropriate construction methods
  • Evaluate construction methods and determine cost-effectiveness plans

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering (from an ABET accredited program)
  • Minimum 5 years’ construction management/inspection related experience
  • All required jurisdictional certifications and statement requirements
  • INDOT Certified Technician
  • Valid state driver’s license
