B&N Recruiter Responsibilities:

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment processes, ensuring effective and swift talent acquisition outcomes in partnership with hiring managers
  • Present creative recommendations on sourcing strategies identifying qualified candidates and over time building talent pipelines of niche skillsets within Civil Engineering and relevant to B&N’s hiring needs
  • Represent B&Ns culture and values in interactions with candidates to create a positive and welcoming experience from sourcing to onboarding
  • Conduct thorough candidate screenings and communicate what sets B&N apart from competitors references to support hiring recommendations
  • Recommend and drive improvements to overall recruiting practice and work with HR learning team for development and facilitation of recruitment workshops for hiring managers and interview teams
  • Update the applicant tracking system with relevant candidate and position information, maintaining accurate records of recruiting activities 


Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 3+ years’ experience in full lifecycle recruiting, hiring niche talent, ideally in both agency and in-house positions
  • Experience successfully sourcing passive talent for niche roles with expertise in Boolean search strings and utilizing technology for expedited outcomes
  • Exceptional communication skills with ability to influence and collaborate across all organization levels
  • Extremely organized and detail-oriented with expertise in multi-tasking juggling multiple priorities
  • A knack for proactive, collaborative, and consultative approach to talent acquisition building trust with stakeholders
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Certified Internet Recruiter (CIR) or Advanced Internet Recruiting Strategies (AIRS), preferred, Certified Diversity and Inclusion Recruiter (CDR), a plus
