Begin your career working with some of the top civil engineering experts in the industry. Burgess & Niple is looking for a Roadway Engineer to join our team in Indianapolis.

B&N Roadway Engineer Responsibilities:

  • As part of the roadway team working with experienced Professional Engineers you will have exposure to roadway design, drainage design, preparing quantities, estimates and plan production
  • You will assist with civil and roadway engineering reports, maps, visual aids, specifications, and permits
  • You will have the opportunity to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures, government regulations and industry standards
  • You will work with the roadway design team on a broad range of design projects

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering or equivalent from an ABET accredited engineering program or ability to obtain within 6 months from this application
  • Engineer Intern (EI) registration or ability to obtain within 6 months from this application
  • 0-2 years of related civil engineering experience
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, MicroStation, InRoads and Open Roads a plus
