What a Project Engineer – Roadway job is all about:

  • As part of the project team, you design roadway projects for Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT)
  • Provide and/or lead production of design plans for INDOT
  • Opportunities to assist with traffic engineering, safety projects and hydraulic/storm sewer projects
  • Actively participate in project meetings to provide an outstanding client experience for INDOT and local government agencies

 What you need to make an impact:

  • A Bachelor of Science degree from an ABET accredited program in civil engineering
  • Indiana PE registration, or ability to obtain through reciprocity
  • 5 + years of roadway design experience, prefer prior experience with INDOT
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to make an impact on projects for our clients in the public or private sector
  • Microsoft Office, Microstation and InRoads required; OpenRoads experience is a plus
  • Self-motivated and adaptable including the capability to learn virtual collaboration tools
