What a Bridge Engineer, Entry Level job is all about:

  • You will work on bridge design and hydraulic design
  • You will collaborate with the roadway design team on a broad range of design projects
  • You will prepare quantities, complete estimates and participate in plan production for bridge design/rehabilitation projects
  • You will perform design calculations of new and existing bridges
  • You will have opportunity to serve as an inspector on bridges around the country

 You may be a good fit if you have these skills and qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science degree from an ABET accredited program in civil engineering or on track to complete within the next 6 months (anticipated start date for the position is June of 2022)
  • You’ve passed the Fundamentals of Engineering exam or if you’re an undergraduate senior, you anticipate passing it within the next 6 months and complete the Engineer Intern registration process
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and MicroStation; InRoads and Open Roads experience a plus
  • Good communication skills and ability to work with clients in either the public or private sector
