Begin your career working with some of the top civil engineering experts in the industry. Burgess & Niple is looking for a  Civil Engineering Intern to join our team in Houston.

B&N Civil Engineering Intern Responsibilities:

  • Work with our project team, collaborate and learn from experienced professional engineers locally and throughout the firm
  • Have involvement in single family residential, multi-family, senior housing, assisted living facilities, commercial, and retail projects throughout the Texas region from inception to completion
  • Assist lead project engineers with concept planning, preliminary plan design, final construction plan design and some construction administration duties

Skills and Qualifications:

  • You are a current student in good academic standing pursuing a degree in civil engineering from an ABET accredited college or university and have completed at least two years of your undergraduate degree
  • You have a strong interest in land development / civil site engineering; previous internships are a plus
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD/Civil 3D, Microsoft Office and Excel preferred
  • Excellent communication skills and detail oriented
