Ready to make an impact on your career, client projects and the community? Burgess & Niple is currently seeking a Senior Transportation Engineer to be part of our growth in Georgia. 

B&N Senior Transportation Engineer Responsibilities:

  • Actively lead and participate in project delivery to create an exemplary client experience
  • Serve as project manager and/or technical subject matter expert on projects with the Georgia Department of Transportation or local agencies
  • Assist with marketing, business development and proposal preparation
  • Support development of strong client relationships with existing clients and with the establishment of new clients
  • Monitor performance indicators, budgets, and schedules
  • Opportunity to train, coach, and mentor junior design staff in developing and delivering design projects

Skills & Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor of Science degree from an ABET accredited program in civil engineering
  • PE registration in the State of Georgia, or ability to be registered with reciprocity
  • 20+ years of experience in Transportation Engineering or Roadway Design
  • Proven verbal, presentation, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Proficiency with MicroStation and Openroads software required
  • Self-motivated and adaptable, including the capability to learn virtual collaboration tools
