B&N Civil Engineer / Project Manager Responsibilities:

  • Lead the planning and design of municipal transportation and/or utility engineering projects for public agencies, counties, and municipalities
  • Create an exemplary client experience throughout the project delivery
  • Maintain quality control of the work products and successfully complete projects on time and within budget
  • Collaborate with other leaders throughout the firm on project pursuits and technical challenges
  • Opportunity to provide training, coaching, and mentoring for developing staff
  • Opportunity to develop project management skills including monitoring relevant performance indicators, budgets, and schedules

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited engineering program
  • Texas PE registration, or ability to obtain through reciprocity within 6 months of hire
  • 5+ years of related engineering experience related to the delivery of municipal transportation, water/wastewater, and storm water projects
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD Civil 3D required.  Proficiency in MicroStation/Open Roads Designer is a plus, but not required.
  • Proven client management, and project management skills is a plus, but not required
  • Excellent communication and technical writing skills
