Begin your career working with some of the top civil engineering experts in the industry. Burgess & Niple is looking for a 2023 summer Engineering Intern to join our team in Evansville.

B&N Engineering Intern Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate and learn from Professional Engineers and the project team
  • Assist with developing drawings for water/wastewater type projects, hydraulic analysis of wastewater systems, field investigations, and general engineering tasks
  • Increase knowledge of municipal infrastructure in a real-life application of engineering
  • Enhance skills utilizing Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Hydraulic modeling software, GIS software, AutoCAD, and Civil 3D

Skills and Qualifications:

  • You are a current student in good standing pursuing a degree from an ABET accredited college or university. Civil or Environmental Engineering degree preferred
  • Strong interest in water/wastewater system design and hydraulic analysis
  • Strong problem solving and communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word preferred
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD and Civil 3D is a plus
