Ready to make an impact on your career, client projects and the community? We are looking for an experienced Professional Engineer with an emphasis on water/wastewater utility engineering projects to join our team in Louisville, KY, Evansville, IN or Cincinnati, OH

What you can expect as the major duties and responsibilities:

  • Lead water/wastewater process engineering projects by coordinating the design, planning and construction aspects of water and wastewater treatment and facility projects including wastewater system design (wastewater treatment plants, lift stations, storage facilities, etc.), water system design (water treatment plants, booster stations, storage tanks/reservoirs, etc.), with a focus on the treatment facilities.
  • Perform treatment process mechanical design using modeling software such as BioWin. 
  • Create and build exemplary client experiences throughout project delivery by serving in a significant project management role building the business in our SW Ohio, Indiana and Kentucky region.
  • Provide technical leadership on treatment design; Coordinate with, train/coach and guide junior design staff in developing and delivering design projects on time and within budget.
  • Collaborate with other design professionals throughout the firm on project pursuits and technical challenges.
  • Participate in strategic business planning, development of client relationship programs or assignments and assessment of new business opportunities.
  • Monitor performance indicators, deadlines, budgets, schedules and manage risk.

You may be a good fit if you have these skills and qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Civil, Environmental, Chemical, Industrial or Mechanical Engineering from an ABET accredited engineering program
  • Professional Engineer (PE) registration with ability to registered in Kentucky, Indiana and Ohio within 6 months of hire
  • Ten or more years of related water/wastewater process design and project delivery experience
  • Strong written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Self-motivated and adaptable, including the capability to learn virtual collaboration tools
  • Ability to work remotely based on business operations and the needs of the firm
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office in addition to water/wastewater treatment process modeling software such as BioWin
