Burgess & Niple is looking for an AutoCAD/REVIT Designer to join our fast-paced, dynamic team in either our Louisville, KY, Evansville, IN or Cincinnati, OH office working on a variety of water and wastewater treatment system projects at various stages of development; from preliminary design to construction.

What a Designer job is all about:

  • Provide drafting/design and detailing for a variety of water/wastewater utility engineering projects such as treatment plants, pump stations, storage tanks, distribution (water mains), and collection (sanitary sewers).
  • Manage and coordinate project drawings for multiple platforms including AutoCAD and REVIT.
  • As part of the project team, complete design tasks and produce high quality construction documents.
  • Assist with design for site development or telecom linework projects.

What you need to make an impact:

  • High school diploma or equivalent, Associates Degree preferred
  • 5 or more years of experience in the industry performing similar work, 10 years preferred
  • Reliable and well-organized critical thinker who is passionate about their contribution to the team
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, AutoCAD and REVIT; Experience with Civil 3D, Infraworks and other advanced presentation technology is a plus
  • Self-motivated and adaptable, including the capability to learn virtual collaboration tools
  • Ability to work remotely based on business operations and the needs of the firm
