B&N Civil Engineer Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Professional Engineers and design staff
  • Participate in delivering projects related to land planning, civil site design, site assessment/feasibility studies, cost opinions, preparation of preliminary and final civil construction plan design for land development clients throughout the Texas and Arizona region
  • Related projects include single family, multi-family, senior housing, assisted living, commercial/retail, and hospitality projects
  • Learn and develop your skills creating bid/contract documents
  • Thrive in an organization that constantly adapts and evolves with client needs
  • Interact with clients, governing agencies and the public and don’t mind occasional construction administration duties and field / site visits

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited engineering program
  • Engineer Intern (EI) registration required 
  • 2-5 years of civil engineering land planning/civil site design experience. Previous internship/co-op experience strongly preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required (Word, Outlook, Excel). Experience with AutoCAD or Civil 3D preferred
  • Excellent communication skills and willingness to collaborate
  • Self-motivated and adaptable to evolving client, project, and industry needs
