Burgess & Niple is seeking a Project Manager to join our Dallas, TX office. This position provides the opportunity to lead and coordinate challenging transportation projects with local agencies in the areas of municipal roadway and street design, complete streets, utility coordination and replacement, and interface with bicycle and pedestrian facilities.

B&N Project Manager Responsibilities

  • Opportunity to train, coach, and mentor junior design staff in developing and delivering design projects
  • Actively lead and participate in project delivery to create an exemplary client experience
  • Serve as project manager and/or technical subject matter expert for selected clients or projects
  • Work with leadership to develop a plan for expanding our client base and winning new work
  • Support development of strong client relationships with existing clients
  • Monitor performance indicators, budgets, schedules, and manage risk

Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Civil Engineering degree from an ABET accredited program
  • PE registration in the State of Texas or ability to register through reciprocity
  • 8+ years of experience related to municipal transportation and stormwater projects
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, AUTOCAD Civil 3D and/or MicroStation
  • Strong client management and project management skills
  • Strong interpersonal and written communication skills
