Burgess & Niple is seeking a Project Engineer to join our Dallas, TX office. This position provides the opportunity to work as part of a design team and collaborate with some of the top water/wastewater experts in the industry to develop water and wastewater approaches and manage development of design and improvement projects.

B&N W/WW Engineer Responsibilities

  • Actively participate and/or lead in the planning and design of challenging water/wastewater projects. Typical projects will include the design of water and wastewater pipelines
  • Create an exemplary client experience throughout the project delivery
  • Monitor performance indicators, budgets, schedules, and manage risk
  • Collaborate with other leaders throughout the firm on project pursuits and technical challenges
  • Opportunity to provide training, coaching, and mentoring for entry level staff

Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Civil Engineering degree from an ABET accredited program
  • PE registration in the State of Texas or ability to register through reciprocity
  • 4-7 years of experience related to municipal design experience in the areas of water/wastewater projects
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, AUTOCAD Civil 3D and/or Microstation
  • Strong client management and project management skills
  • Strong interpersonal and written communication skills
