Burgess & Niple is seeking a Senior Marketing Coordinator to join our Columbus, Ohio office. This role will support marketing and pursuit efforts to advance national growth efforts for our Active Transportation, Transit, and Geospatial and Data Science services. We are looking for someone who can build strong relationships with technical staff and leadership, manage competing priorities, and help keep both day-to-day execution and larger growth initiatives moving forward.

B&N Senior Marketing Coordinator Responsibilities:

• Lead and support proposal efforts, including planning, writing, editing, coordination, and production of pursuit materials
• Work with pursuit teams to develop clear messaging, differentiators, and win themes for proposals and interviews
• Develop and edit interview materials, support rehearsals, and help teams prepare for shortlist presentations
• Build collaborative working relationships with project managers, technical staff, and leadership to improve pursuit strategy and marketing execution
• Support annual marketing plan execution
• Coordinate and maintain marketing tracking tools, including pursuit lists, conference trackers, tactics spreadsheets, and related reporting tools
• Support conference strategy and execution, including abstract development, speaker coordination, exhibit content, promotional materials, and post-event follow-up
• Help identify, develop, and repurpose thought leadership content tied to growth priorities
• Maintain and improve CRM data quality, support pursuit tracking, and encourage consistent use of CRM as a business development tool
• Support and reinforce content capture efforts for new project wins and other strategic content opportunities
• Use AI tools to support marketing and proposal processes, including content development, editing, research, quality control, and process improvements
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, reduce rework, and create more consistency across repeatable marketing tasks 

Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Business, English, or a related field
• 7+ years of experience in a related marketing, proposal, or business development role required
• Prior AEC experience required
• Strong proposal and pursuit support experience, including writing, editing, messaging development, and deadline management
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail and a clear, compelling writing style
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple deadlines, shifting priorities, and cross-functional teams
