Come work with senior-level professionals at an established A/E firm that value employee input and collaboration. Burgess & Niple is looking for a Civil Engineer - Utility Infrastructure, Entry Level to join our team in Columbus.

B&N Civil Engineer – Utility Infrastructure, Entry Level Responsibilities:

  • Work with a team of EITs and Pes assisting with utility infrastructure field services and design
  • Assist with flow monitor installation, data analysis, smoke testing, and dyed water testing for municipality and city improvement projects in Ohio
  • Be responsible for design tasks that could include technical design of storm sewers, waterlines, sanitary sewer rehabilitation projects and quantity takeoff with cost estimation

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of science in civil, environmental, or equivalent engineering program from an ABET accredited program
  • Engineer Intern (EI) registration in the state of Ohio
  • 0-4 years of related engineering experience
  • Excellent communication skills and detail-oriented
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, Civil 3D, and ArcGIS preferred, but not required
  • Ability to work outside in all weather conditions and able to lift up to 50lbs.
