Come work with senior-level professionals at an established A/E firm that values employee input and collaboration. Burgess & Niple is looking for a Civil Engineer – Water/Wastewater to join our team in Columbus.


B&N Civil Engineer – Water/Wastewater Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with civil Professional Engineers and design staff across the firm
  • Make a difference in the community you live in or serve by providing professional services to enhance the quality of life and the environment
  • Participate in the planning and design of water/wastewater projects with emphasis on water. Projects may include designs of water treatment facilities, booster stations, and/or studies of water and/or wastewater systems
  • Contribute to delivery of projects related to all aspects of water/wastewater treatment and water distribution systems
  • Coordinate with B&N project teams, internally and externally
  • Promote a positive team environment that enhances our exceptional corporate culture
  • Perform field work to support renovation and upgrade design
  • Learn and develop your skills as an engineer

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science degree from an ABET accredited civil, environmental, or equivalent engineering program
  • Engineering Intern (EI) registration required in Ohio
  • 0-3 years of relevant engineering experience
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate in a team environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office required, experience with AutoCAD, REVIT, and/or hydraulic modeling software is desirable
  • Self-motivated and adaptable, including the capability to learn virtual collaboration tools
