B&N Chief Financial Officer Responsibilities 

  • Lead all financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis activities to ensure the company’s financial health and support strategic objectives
  • Oversee cash flow management, investments, and asset management to ensure adequate liquidity for ongoing and future projects
  • Manage relationships with banks, lenders, auditors, and strategic business partners
  • Ensure accurate, timely, and compliant financial reporting in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations
  • Lead financial due diligence and valuation analysis for potential M&A
  • Build and execute comprehensive financial strategies and long-term planning for $100M revenue operations
  • Present financial results, forecasts, and strategic recommendations to the Board of Directors
  • Oversee the preparation and filing of all tax returns and ensure compliance with relevant tax laws
  • Monitor financial and accounting systems, internal controls, and reporting tools to improve operational efficiency.
  • Provide financial insight and support for project bidding and risk management, working closely with operations and project management teams
  • Evaluate project profitability, timelines, and financial risks
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the finance, accounting and administrative teams
  • Support the CEO with major financial decisions and strategic planning


Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • CPA designation required; MBA or relevant master’s degree preferred
  • Minimum of 10 years in executive financial leadership roles, ideally within the engineering, construction, or related industries
  • Demonstrated expertise in financial planning, analysis, and risk management
  • Experience with project-based accounting and operational finance in an engineering or construction environment preferred
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across all levels of the organization
