Begin your career working with some of the top civil engineering experts in the industry. Burgess & Niple is looking for a Traffic Engineer, Entry Level to join our team in Columbus OH.

B&N Traffic Engineer, Entry Level Responsibilities
:

  • Collaborate on a project team on all aspects of traffic engineering, including maintenance of traffic, signal designs, sign and marking designs, ITS, and studies
  • Coordinate project drawings using MicroStation and OpenRoads
  • Complete design tasks and produce high quality plans, specifications, and estimate deliverables to create an exemplary client experience
  • Collaborate with engineering staff on technical challenges while adhering to task performance indicators, budgets, and schedules

 

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited program required
  • EI/EIT certification or ability to obtain within 6 months
  • 0-2 years of related traffic experience
  • Software experience with Microsoft Office, MicroStation, OpenRoads Designer (ORD) preferred
  • Strong communication skills
  • Experience with Synchro and/or HCS is a plus
  • Self-motivated and adaptable, including the capability to learn virtual collaboration tools
