Come work with senior-level professionals at an established A/E firm that value employee input and collaboration. Burgess & Niple is looking for a CAD Technician/Designer to join our treatment design team in Columbus, OH.

B&N CAD Technician/Designer Responsibilities:

  • Provide AutoCAD design support for various water/wastewater projects
  • Prepare and label preliminary layouts and detailed design drawings from engineering notes, sketches, and/or other drawings
  • Work directly with project engineers to learn design skills for a variety of projects
  • Opportunity to work in an innovative environment

Skills and Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma required. Associate degree with related AutoCAD experience preferred
  • Certificate in an AutoCAD related training course or work equivalent preferred
  • 0-2 years of related AutoCAD experience
  • Understanding of creation and compilation of construction drawings using AutoCAD or Civil3D
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)
  • Capability to work independently and as a team player
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required
