We are looking for an experienced Corporate Recruiter to join our HR team in Columbus, OH office. You will play a central part of a recruiting team that is responsible for fueling the rapid strategic growth by identifying and engaging top talent in a creative way, improving and contributing to our employer brand. 

What you can expect as the major duties and responsibilities:

  • Directly source candidates through research, messaging campaigns, internet searches, proactively contacting, resume mining, referral generation, pre-screening, career fair events and interviewing candidates to attract to the firm.
  • Proactively and creatively sources, leads and screens candidates to develop pools of talent for positions across the firm.
  • Develop and present recommendations on qualified candidates to hiring managers and participate with Human Resources for offer development
  • Proactively pipeline talent including designing, building and maintaining a strong and diverse network of potential candidates and utilize local and community resources
  • Ensure that candidates are seamlessly moving through the interview process
  • Collaborate and share knowledge and practices with the HR team
  • Recommend and drive improvements to overall recruiting practice and work with HR for development  and facilitation of recruitment workshops for hiring managers and interview teams
  • Assesses candidates through competency-based screening, ensuring only qualified candidates are referred
  • Creates a positive candidate experience
  • Ensures the maintenance of accurate and concise records and reports concerning all phases of the recruitment process

 You may be a good fit if you have these skills and qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field
  • 3+ years of experience hiring technical talent by sourcing and closing candidates; experience working with engineering candidates, preferred
  • Experience working as part of a corporate/in-house internal recruitment team
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Extremely organized and detail-oriented
  • Passion for technology
  • Experience working with applicant tracking systems
  • Ability to successfully close passive candidates
  • Excellent client relationship skills, communicates proactively and consistently with hiring managers and candidates
  • Certified Internet Recruiter (CIR) or Advanced Internet Recruiting Strategies (AIRS), preferred, Certified Diversity and Inclusion Recruiter (CDR), a plus
